Located on beautiful Haliburton Lake, the Haliburton Lake House is just steps from 100 feet of sandy shallow entry lakefront. Boasting a rare open green space adjacent the cabin for campfires, games and relaxing in the hammock, and including amenities such as air conditioning, a floating mat and kayaks - new memories await. Haliburton Lake is known for its pristine beauty where the shoreline boasts granite cliffs and rolling forested hills, with fall colours that have inspired artists for generations. Boating and fishing are both excellent, with a public beach and park on the lake, marina, restaurant, and opportunities to take in the arts at Fleming Sculpture Gardens in downtown Haliburton.
The Haliburton Lake House is vacation ready. The waterfront is steps from the cabin and the entry is shallow and sandy. You will have access to the floating mat, kayaks, lifejackets, firewood, propane and a jug for the water cooler (even though water is safe to drink). There is an enclosed outdoor eating area, hammock and firepit area to relax when you aren't enjoying the lake as well. Haliburton Lake has a cottage association that hosts events for kids, such as swimming lessons at the public beach (where there is also a park) and kid's bingo. There are a few public boat launches on the lake so you can bring your own boat, a marina with ice cream and LCBO and restaurant. The Eagle Lake market is about 15 minutes away and offers groceries and LCBO as well. Check out the local amenities while you stay with Dogsled tours on the lake, the Haliburton Forest Wolf Center and Sir Sams Ski and Ride nearby.
